Miranda and her friend Isaac opted for some communal transportation Monday morning during the very cold march honoring MLK's birthday. It didn't last long, as they quickly began to fear compression over freezing, but it was cute while it lasted!
(On the 5th day of her enforced H1N1 house arrest) "Daddy, this house is so boring. There's nothing to do here but eat." (heads to the freezer for another Whole-Grain Eggo waffle) October 2009
(While reading "Charlotte's Web" with Mommy) "Wow, Miranda, Charlotte drinks blood. Spiders do that, but people don't." "But people drink blood too, Mommy." (somewhat taken aback...) "When do people drink blood, Miranda?" "We drink blood at High Street (our church), Mommy. With the bread of Jesus." October 2009
(Bursting into tears and running over to me during the beginning of "E.T.") "Mommy, how is the little guy going to get home now? HOW???" October 2009
(After being told that she couldn't get a balloon at the store) "Oh... tartar sauce." October 2009
